MODULAR DATA ACQUISITION

MAQ20 is an industrial data acquisition and control system designed with a modular structure. The system consists of a communication module, a backbone structure and I/O modules selected according to requirements.

Users can add appropriate modules to the system according to the sensor types required in the application. Thermocouple or RTD modules can be selected for temperature measurement, voltage / current input modules for process signals, digital I/O modules for digital signals, or bridge input modules for strain gauge measurement.

One of the most important product groups within MAQ20 is the strain gauge modules. Strain gauge measurements are used in applications where strain, force, load, deformation or structural behavior must be monitored.

A Wheatstone bridge configuration is generally used in strain gauge measurement. Measurement accuracy, compensation for temperature effects, sensor placement and the mechanical structure of the application determine which bridge connection should be used.

Data Monitoring, Recording, Control and Reporting

ReDAQ Shape is the data monitoring, recording, control and reporting software used with the MAQ20 system. The software graphically displays the communication module and installed I/O modules in the system.

As modules are added or removed, the system structure can be updated. Users can create measurement screens, monitor data live, record data and prepare graphs.

This structure helps MAQ20 be used not only as hardware, but as an integrated data acquisition system.

PLC and SCADA Integration
